C $ C Pawn Shop was established in 1970 on the North East corner of 31st S and Seneca in Wichita
Kansas. The first shop was only 800 square feet with a few show cases, one center island and a
small tackle box for a cash register. Since that time we have moved twice to larger buildings on
the same street corner which is still our present day location.

During the 39 years we have been in business we have very diligently and purposefully modeled
our shop after larger retail chain stores.  Large open, well lighted and organized. We are not
your typical pawn shop nor do we look like one either. We are not a junk store with dirty tools
and stuff stacked everywhere with just a path to walk through. We do not take or sell junk
tools, or products of any kind. We deal in name brand products just like the large retail chain
store with one major difference, our products sell at less than half price of retail and most
are like brand new! Can you imagine buying a brand new in the box Dewalt cordless tool kit
which retails for well over $600.00 for a measly $350.00? It happens here everyday!

For 39 years we have been serving the greater Wichita and surrounding are with collateral
loans, payday loans and check cashing not to mention saving people millions of dollars on high
end name brand products. No matter what your needs, weather it be a firearm, tools, musical
instruments, stereos, diamond rings, collectable coins and paper money, dvd's, cd's, precision

What we do...

Very simply: the Pawnshop exists to provide funds to people who are unable to secure
a loan at a more traditional bank. Since you do not need to own a house or car to
secure a loan, the pawnshop has often been referred to as the Poor Man's Bank. But,
thinking that only the "poor" use pawnshops is just an uninformed misconception. To
secure a loan at a pawnshop you need to have something to pawn: collateral.

Collateral can be anything from a musical instrument to tools . 
Most pawnshops take the same types of collateral, but make sure to check
with the individual store before attempting to acquire a loan. One misconception a
lot of people have before going into a pawnshop is that they think they can receive
full retail value for their item. You must remember even if your item is fresh in the
box you will not receive what you paid for it; the pawnshop is not going to make a
deal which will have it lose money. Because pawnshops rely on others to bring in
their collateral, the majority of the inventory for sale was previously owned by
someone else.

Just because the items are used, doesn't mean they don't work.
